Devils Tower is located in the town of Devils Tower, and was sanctioned as the country’s first National Monument. As such,
the tower rises up 1,267 feet above the gushing waters of the Belle Fourche River, revealing its granite walls in a majestic
display of geology. The culture that the tower has attracted is immense, and among other things the monument is a sacred site
for many Native Americans.
